The wine has a clean, youthful nose. The wine has a delicate, pronounced aroma intensity of ripe yellow and tropical fruit, perfume and floral tones. We smell a rich bouquet filled with aromas of mint, elder flower, lychee, grapefruit and white peach. The fruit spurts out the glass!
It is a dry wine with a medium level of alcohol (12.5%) and a medium + level of acidity. With a medium+ flavour intensity and medium+ body this wine is a glass full of ripe fruits. The palate is dominated by citrus fruit and stone fruits. We taste flavours of lemon, grapefruit, pear, peach gooseberries. A subtle hint of pepper gives the wine an exciting twist. The ending of the wine is of medium length.
It is a good wine, perfect to drink now, not suitable for further ageing. The wine is very fresh with sweet fruits in the glass. It is a nice, warm wine but it is a bit one dimensional. Although the wine is well made and has a good balance, it is not what one would call a typical Riesling. For that, the wine has too much fruit and too little minerality.
