The nose is clean and youthful with pronounced aroma intensity with mainly vegetal and secondary fruity aroma characteristics. We smell vegetable juice, green asparagus, basil, sweet muscat grapes and honey.
A dry wine, with medium+ acidity, medium alcohol and medium- body. Flavor intensity is medium with fruity and vegetal characteristics. We taste white fruit, stone fruit, citrus and some green tones. The wine has a creamy taste due to the battonage. Length is medium+.
A cool-climate Viognier, not at all typical of Viognier from warmer regions. Furthermore, the vines are very young, which likely influences the flavor. The wine is very reductive at first and needs to be opened for at least an hour or thoroughly swirled before the fruit flavors truly emerge. A good wine.
