A very good Riesling from 2021! It needs some airing after opening. The palate is atypical for a Riesling, more reminiscent of an Italian Soave, but it’s very successful. The palate is soft and smooth with anise, yellow fruit, and green herbs.

Appearance
A clean, lemon-green-colored wine with pale color-intensity.
Nose
The nose is clean and youthful with medium aroma intensity and characteristics of sweet yellow fruit, tropical fruit, citrus, and grasses. We smell lemon, melon, apple, pear, grapes, anise and some fresh grass.
Palate
A dry wine with medium alcohol, medium acidity, and medium body. Flavor intensity is medium+ with fruity, herbaceous and floral characteristics. We taste apple, grapefruit, anise, blossom and fine green herbs, some minerality and a mouth-drying character.
Ending is of medium length.

Quality Assessment
