The wine has a clean, youthful nose with a pronounced aroma intensity characteristics of black fruit, herbs, cedar wood, and dried flowers. A beautiful nose with black cherries, blackcurrants and green herbs: bay leaf, rosemary, thyme, dried grass and some salmiak.
A dry wine, with medium alcohol, medium(-) acidity and low tannins. The wine is medium bodied with a medium+ flavor intensity. We taste a palate with fruity, vegetal and herbaceous characteristics with flavors of black currant, salmiak, green bell pepper and smoked, black tea and a beautiful aftertaste of medium (+) length.
A beautiful and well-made wine, nicely balanced, a bit mouth drying and clear tones of cedar wood. Ready to drink now, but around 6 months of bottle ripening would soften the wine a bit.
