Kleine Schorre Schouwen Duivenland Blanc 2021
white wine
Een zeer goede witte wijn, gemaakt van een blend van Pinot Blanc en Auxerrois. Een mooie, expressieve neus, vol tropisch fruit, geel fruit en gedroogd fruit. Ook in de mond heeft deze wijn veel te ontdekken! Zoete appel, abrikoos, mango, vlierbes, nectarine, perzik en een klein amandelbittertje. De geur en smaak van de wijn liggen goed in elkaars verlengde (What you smell is what you taste), wat we niet al te vaak zien. Door zijn sterke karakter een goede wijn voor wijn-spijs combinaties!

Appearance
A clear, lemon colored wine with medium- color intensity.
Nose
The wine has a clean nose, with youthful development and a medium+ aroma intensity with characteristics of fruit: citrus, white fruit, tropical fruit, and dried fruit and minerality. We smell apple, mandarin, sweet apricot, peach, mango, white grapes, honey and wet pebbles.
Palate
It is a dry wine with a medium level of alcohol (12.5%), and medium acidity. It is medium bodied with medium+ flavour intensity and a light tingling on the tongue. Also in the nose, we have a lot of yellow fruit, stone fruit, tropical and dried fruit, supplemented by blossom and honey. We taste flavors of sweet apple, apricot, mango, elderberry, nectarine, peach and a small almond bitterness.
Quality Assessment
This is a very good wine. Good wine for food-pairing. Very expressive, nice and mild acidities. The smell and taste of the wine are well in line with each other (What you smell is what you taste), which we don’t see too often.
