De wijn laat een mooie balans tussen fruit en frisheid zien. Hij heeft rood fruit, cederhout en kruidige geuren in de neus. De wijn heeft een mooi, breed smaak palet van rood fruit en ontwikkelende aromakenmerken zoals cederhout en animale tonen. We proeven aardbeien, kersen, bosvruchten, ceder, zoethout, kruiden en dennen. De alcohol kan een beetje uitgesproken zijn in het smaakpalet. We raden aan om de wijn van tevoren een beetje af te koelen, dit verbetert de smaak.

Appearance
A clear, purple/ruby colored wine with a medium- color intensity.
Nose
The wine has a clean nose, it is developing with a medium + aroma intensity of red fruits, cedarwood and herbeceaous scents. We smell aromas of strawberries, cherries, red berries, violets, mint, thyme and liquorice.
Palate
A dry wine, with medium alcohol, medium+ acidity and medium- to low tannins. The wine is medium bodied with a medium+ flavour intensity. We taste red fruit, oak and animal flavor characteristics. Specified flavors are strawberries, cherries, forest fruit, cedar, liquorice, herbaceous plants and pine.
Quality Assessment
The wine shows a nice balance between fruit and freshness. The alcohol can be a bit pronounced in the flavor palate. We recommend to cool the wine a bit, as this will improve the taste of the wine. A good wine which is ready to drink; we don’t expect it will further improve with ageing.
