De wijn is goed gemaakt en heeft a-typisch karakter voor een Nederlandse wijn. Veel rijp fruit en hints van rozen, gecombineerd met secundaire aroma’s zoals cederhout, leer en wat zwarte olijven. Een spannende blend met een goede bite! Aangezien het cederhout nog niet volledig geïntegreerd is, verwachten we dat de wijn nog zal verbeteren met een paar jaar extra flesrijping

Appearance
A clear, ruby-colored wine with a medium color intensity.
Nose
The wine has a clean nose, it is still youthful with a medium+ aroma intensity with fruity, floral, spicy and lactic characteristics. We smell ripe black fruit, cherries, raspberries, roses, cedar wood, fresh ginger and some lactic sensations.
Palate
A dry wine, with medium alcohol, medium acidity and medium tannins. The wine is medium+ bodied with a medium+ flavor intensity. The palate has characteristics of fruits, flowers and cedar wood. Cherries, blackberries, roses, vanilla, leather, cedar wood, black olives and herbs with a nice ending of medium+ length
Quality Assessment
The wine is well made with an atypical character for a Dutch wine. It has an exciting blend and a good bite. A good wine. Since the wood is not yet fully integrated, we expect the wine will improve by a few years of further ageing.
