Hoeve Nekum Cuvee 2021
white wine
A lovely blend of Riesling and Gewurztraminer. The scent of sweet yellow fruit drifts from the glass! A lot of sweet fruit and flowers and some green herbs treats us to a delicious taste. The wine is nicely bodied, with a good balance between fruit and acidity.

Appearance
A clear, lemon colored wine with medium- color intensity
Nose
The nose is clean, youthful with pronounced aroma intensity with characteristics of yellow-, citrus-,and tropical fruit. We smell aromas of red apple, lemon, peach, ripe pineapple and honey.
Palate
A dry wine with medium+ acidity, medium+ alcohol and medium body. Flavour intensity is medium+ with fruity, floral and herbaceous characteristics. We taste a lot of sweet fruit and flavours of red apple, passion fruit, elderflower, sweet flowers and some green herbs. The ending has a medium+ length and a small bitterness.
Quality Assessment
A good wine, ready to drink now but can improve with some further ageing. A lot of sweet fruit, nicely bodied, with a good balance between fruit and acidity.
