Een elegante wijn, goed geïntegreerd in termen van hout en tannines. De wijn heeft kenmerken van rood fruit, cederhout, kruiden en plantaardige geuren in de neus en donker fruit, plantaardige en eikenachtige smaakkenmerken in de mond. We hadden liever wat meer intense fruit geproefd, toch is dit een aangename wijn met Pinot Noir-achtige kenmerken, dus drink hem licht gekoeld.

Appearance
A clear, purple/ruby colored wine with a deep color intensity.
Nose
The wine has a clean nose, which holds between youthful and developing with a medium- aroma intensity with characteristics of red fruits, cedarwood, spices and vegetal scents. We smell aromas of blackberries, blackcurrants, sour cherries, vanilla, cedarwood, pine and liquorice.
Palate
A dry wine, with medium alcohol, medium+ acidity and medium- tannins. The wine is medium bodied with a medium- flavour intensity. We taste dark fruit, vegetal and oaky flavor characteristics. Specified flavors are jammy forest fruit, green bellpepper, cedar, juniper, liquorice, thyme and nutmegg.
Quality Assessment
This is a good wine. Drink it now, it will likely not improve. The mouthfeel of the wine is a bit thinner than what you would expect with this nose. It is an elegant wine, well-integrated in terms of wood and tannins. We would have preferred more intense fruit flavors. A pleasant wine with Pinot Noir-like characteristics, so drink it a little chilled
