Een bijzondere en opvallende wijn, want heel erg on-Nederlands. Dit hebben we bij GD!W nog niet eerder van Hollandse bodem geproefd. Hij heeft veel weg van een Meursault met bubbels! Het hout is erg uitgesproken, waardoor de smaak wat onevenwichtig is en het fruit wat naar de achtergrond verdwijnt. Combineer met gerookte zalm of heilbot en waan je even in de Bourgogne!

Appearance
A clear, lemon colored wine with medium- color intensity and mousse in the glass
Nose
The wine has a clean, developing nose, with a medium + aroma intensity of yellow fruit, tropical fruit, oak ripening, and yeast with specified aromas of vanilla, butterscotch, toast, apricots and ripe yellow apples.
Palate
A dry wine, with medium acidity, medium alcohol, a medium+ body and a somewhat hard (creamy to aggressive) mousse. The wine has a medium+ flavour intensity with characteristics of citrus and tropical fruits and secondary flavours of oak ageing. We taste citrus fruits, banana, vanilla, oak, butterscotch, and buttery tones.
Quality Assessment
A good wine, ready to drink now but suitable for some more ageing, flavours might integrate a bit more, since the oak taste is very pronounced.
