TASTING NOTE

Eyra 2020

sparkling wine

Our rating

7.5 /10
We smell a lot of fruit in the nose, combined with some more vegetal, green aromas. The wine has a nice and creamy mousse. We taste lemon, green apples and mandarin supplemented with a nice minerality and a small bitterness in the end. It is high in its acids, but the acids are nice and soft.

A clear, lemon-green colored wine with a pale color intensity and a clear mousse in the glass.
Nose
The wine has a clean, developing nose, with a medium aroma-intensity of yellow and tropical fruits and vegetables. We smell specified scents of pineapple juice, apples, ripened pears, apricot, combined with more vegetal, green aromas and some scents of toast.

Eyra is a dry wine, with medium+ acidity, medium alcohol, a medium body, and a creamy mousse. The wine has a medium+ flavor intensity of mainly fruit. We taste lemon, green apples and mandarin supplemented with a nice minerality and a small bitterness of red grapefruit or tonic in the after taste. The finish is of medium length.
