‘t Hanik De Koperwiek 2021

white wine

Our rating

7 /10
A good glass of wine! It has a good structure, and is nicely balanced. The wine is made of a blend of 3 Dutch grape types and has a fruity and vegetal character. Yellow and green fruits, combined with some grassy tones and fresh green herbs. Nice and fresh!

Detailed Tasting Notes

Wine tasting: 5 Apr 2023
Appearance
A bit cloudy, lemon-green colored wine with pale color intensity.
Nose
The nose is clean with a youthful development. Aroma intensity is medium+ with fruity and vegetal characteristics. We smell yellow fruits, lemon, green apple, pear and elder-flower, combined with some grassy tones and fresh green herbs.
Palate
The wine is dry with medium+ acidity and medium alcohol (12.5%). Body and flavor intensity are both medium with characteristics of citrus, yellow- and green fruit. We taste green apple, grapefruit, pear, gooseberry and a small bitterness
Quality Assessment
Ready to drink, could age several more months to soften the acids a bit more.Good structure, and well-made.
