Thorn Pinot Noir rosé 2019

A nicely balanced rose wine of the pinot noir grape with a good structure and a nice mouthfeel. We smell and taste a nice fruity and floral palate of red currants, strawberries, citrus fruit, yellow apple, rose hips, blossoms and some vegetal hints. We recommend to combine it with smoked chicken, a fresh salad with goat cheese, trout or fresh mackerel, rhubarb or simply as an aperitif with an olive. Have a nice drink in the sun this spring and summer!

Appearance
A clear, salmon wine with a medium- color intensity.
Nose
The wine has a clean nose. The development is still youthful. Intensity of the aromas is medium and provides us with a combination of fruity and floral aromas. We smell red currants, strawberries, citrus fruit, rose hips and blossom.
Palate
A dry rosé wine with a medium level of alcohol (12,5%) and medium acidity. The wine is medium bodied with a pleasant medium+ flavor intensity. In the mouth we also taste a lot of fruit and a slightly vegetal character. We taste a fine mix of lychees, strawberries, a hint of orange, berries and yellow apple and some vegetal hints. We taste no tannins and the taste does not linger very long, the finish is medium-.
Quality Assessment
This pinot noir rose is a good wine. Have a nice drink in the sun this spring and summer! Nicely balanced with a good structure and a nice mouthfeel.
