Apostelhoeve Riesling 2021
white wine
This 2021 Riesling has a rich aroma and flavour palate with a nice balance between fruit and acidity. In the nose an overwhelming aroma of sweet yellow fruits, in the mouth fresh acidity, yellow fruits, flowers and citrus. A beautiful young Riesling. Nicely to combine with Asian salads, ceviche, cheese fondue or fruit de mer.

Appearance
A clear, lemon coloured wine with pale color intensity.
Nose
The wine has a clean, youthful nose with a pronounced aroma intensity of fruity, floral and some vegetal characteristics. We smell elder flower, sweet red apple, pear, gooseberry, lemon, blossoms, and some green fresh lettuce.
Palate
A dry wine with a medium level of alcohol (12.5%) and high acidity. The wine is medium bodied with a medium+ flavour intensity. The palate shows flavour characteristics of mainly sweet fruit, flowers, and citrus. We taste apple, sweet pear, nectarine, orange peel and grapefruit and some hints of fresh grass. The wine has a pleasant after taste of medium+ length.
Quality Assessment
A particularly good wine! Ready to drink now but will also improve by further ageing. A nice balance between sweet fruit and acidity and with a rich aroma and flavour palate.
