TASTING NOTE

Hof van Baarle Regent 2022

red wine

Our rating

7.5 /10
A good wine of the Regent grape with a palate of prunes, eucalyptus, bay-leaf, liquorice, cloves and vegetal tones. Nice to combine with red cabbage or a stew with beef or eggplant.
Note that the wine has a strong chemical smell when you open it (reduction) and needs air! After 15-20 minutes of air, this smell disappears.
