Maronesse Opa’s Trots 2022
white wine
A simple but attractive white wine with more than a year of oak ageing. Flowers and yellow fruit in the nose and floral, yellow fruit and vegetal notes in the tasting palate. The smell is a bit musty and dusty at first, but that disappears after 15-20 minutes of oxygen, so first leave the wine open for some time before drinking!

Appearance
A clear, lemon colored wine with pale color intensity
Nose
The nose is youthful with medium aroma intensity with aroma characteristics of flowers, vegetables and white and yellow fruit. We smell apple, pear, white grapes, stone fruit, lychee, oak, and vegetable juice
Palate
A dry, medium bodied wine with medium+ acidity and medium alcohol. Flavour intensity is medium with flavours of citrus, unripe grapes, diry, vegetable juice and a small bitterness.
Quality Assessment
A good wine, simple, but attractive. Ready to drink now, not expected to improve by further ageing. The smell is initially a bit musty and dusty, but this disappears after 15 minutes.
