This rose is a fruity wine with aromas of raspberries, blackberries, red- and blackcurrants. Both in smell and taste, the fruit is bothered by something chemical, which is unfortunate. The price-quality ratio is for that reason could have been better.

This rose is a fruity wine with aromas of raspberries, blackberries, red- and blackcurrants. Both in smell and taste, the fruit is bothered by something chemical, which is unfortunate. The price-quality ratio is for that reason could have been better.

Dassemus

Ceci n’est pas un Orange 2019

Our rating: 8.5/10
Together with Simon Woolf, Dassemus produced the first Orange wine in The Netherlands, with a fantastic result! This organic nature wine is exciting, it is different and has a lot of everything! In the nose we smell flowers, red fruit and vanilla. In the mouth we taste discover flavours of redcurrant, that typical taste of just too ripe yellow apples, the white from apple seeds, raisins and a clear taste of orange peel. This wine is a like the free-style jazz band: it feels a little strange in the beginning but after that, you will enjoy a great evening! A wonderful wine with a wonderful name! The wine has an excellent Price-Quality-ratio: compliments to Vineyard Dassemus for making such a good wine at this price.

Our rating: 8/10
This orange colored wine has aromas of sweet strawberries, raspberries and a hint of elderflower. The very sweet scent initially puts you on the wrong track, since the wine is dry and the taste is characterized by flavours of rose hips, redcurrants and quinces with a slight bitterness in the aftertaste. The taste reminds us of red bush tea. Secco is nice to combine with a fresh salad Niçoise, fried tuna or toast with smoked salmon or mackerel. The price-quality ratio is very good!

Frysling Brûswyn 2017

Our rating: 8.5/10
The Brûswyn is a nice glass of wine with a lot of taste and depth. We smell aromas of elderflower, pear and marzipan and taste a wide range of flavors like pineapple, pears, apple, elderflower, white peach and lemons. The wine is very well made and has a creamy mousse. The wine can still mature, but we would not recommend this due to the low acidity.

Frysling Brûswyn 2017

The Brûswyn is a nice glass of wine with a lot of taste and depth. We smell aromas of elderflower, pear and marzipan and taste a wide range of flavors like pineapple, pears, apple, elderflower, white peach and lemons. The wine is very well made and has a creamy mousse. The wine can still mature, but we would not recommend this due to the low acidity.

Where we smelled flowers and aromas of sweet yellow fruits, we taste more citrus and vegetal flavors in the mouth such as bitter almond, gooseberries, grapefruit and green fresh herbs. The wine has a punchy aftertaste of good length. Moreover, the price-quality ratio is very good. What a beautiful wine, well done for this price! The panel unanimously agrees: we want another glass of this wine!

Polderparel 2017

Our rating: 7/10
A nice wine to drink on the terrace which gives you that happy summer feeling! This off-dry wine has a nose and palate of yellow fruit, citrus and blossoms. We taste red apples, pear, white peach, lime and grapefruit, muscat grapes and elderflower. The light and fast disappearing mousse is a bit disappointing, especially because the name Polderparel (“pearl of the polder”) suggests a fresh and sparkling wine.
