Domaine d’Heerstaayen
Our rating: 7.5/10
The wine has a somewhat typical yeast odor that is reminiscent of wine that has not yet finished fermentation. In the nose little fruit with a vegetal character, but in the mouth the wine is very fruity; lots of yellow fruit, a small red berry and a delicate mousse. A nice aperitif.

St Martinus & Domein Holset
Our rating: 8/10
The Gris de Villare is a beautiful, exciting and well made white wine with 6 months aging in French oak. The sweet fruit drifts out of the glass and is nicely integrated with soft scents of wood aging. Unfortunately, the nose fades a bit after being open for a while. But to make up for that, a delicious full taste with flowers, hints of wood ripening and lots of sweet fruit, which is nicely balanced with the acids, quickly follows..

‘t Biezenhof
Our rating: 6.5/10
The wine shows a fairly big difference between a broad aroma palate and a rather one-dimensional taste palate. The nose is quite aromatic but has a somewhat green character with characteristics of unripe fruit, vegetables and herbs. The taste is younger, more sour and quite bitter with a drying effect in the back of the throat due to the fairly hard acids. This ensures that the wood is pushed back, which is unfortunate because the wood is well-integrated. All in all, a well-made wine in itself, not a wine that you easily drink away.

Achterhoekse Oorsprong (A.W.B.)
Our rating: 7/10
This wine is surprising and interesting with beautiful soft acids! It turns out to be quite different than expected by smelling it. It has a broad aroma palate with primary, secondary and tertiary aroma characteristics. In the mouth, we have citrus fruit and yellow apples. The wine has a pleasant minerality. This is a real food wine. Combine it with chicken with lemon, or grilled sardines.

Maronesse
Our rating: 6.5/10
A well-made, however not very exciting and rather one-dimensional white wine. In the nose yellow fruits and citrus, unripe galia melon and some hints of vegetables and white pepper. In the mouth, we have lemon, gooseberries, and a clear bitterness, supplemented with some hints of green vegetables, herbs, and white nuts.
Nice to combine with a fresh salad or black olives.

Wijngoed Fromberg
Our rating: 7.5/10
The smell differs significantly from the taste, which gives an exciting effect. We smell a lot of red and sweet fruit, citrus and some tones of hay, where in mouth the taste is strongly dominated by citrus flavors. The wine is good but still young at the moment of tasting and for that reason still fairly high in some hard acids. We expect these to soften with a little bottle aging. That’s why we recommend leaving this rose for a while until a warm summer day or, if you can’t wait, decant it.
For food-pairing we recommend a fresh salad with red onion, tuna and capers and a nice French vinaigrette ( Salade Nicoise)
